I've wanted to do a doll of Chii and Freya for a really long time, but I never was able to find the right base for it. Recently I came apon a doll site with exactly the right base, but it was shaded using burn/dodge. I outlined the base, got rid of the shading, tweaked the anatomy a bit, reshaded it (pixel style). Then I started working on the actual doll.
This doll has by far the most complicated hair I have ever done. Why, why, why!, does Chii and her sister have to have such long long hair. >.< The doll took about 3 days to complete, and that was mostly the hair.
