I have been uber busy latly, so thats why there has been a bit of a lack of deviations. I'm finishing off the last castle skirts and writing a thesis on "Symbolic Language of Clothing" XD perhaps I'll post it to here when it's done.

Writing this thesis has caused me to conclude I am a super mega fabrics and historical costuming geek, atleast compared to my friends (which I guess isn't saying much). There is this one sentence in my paper that I think is hilarious, but no one else seems to enjoy as much.....

Concluding my discription as to why my blue "Renn" [link] gown is not period at all I say this:

"The fabric is an amusing metaphor for the confused nature of the dress as it is a synthetic fabric mimicking a suede mimicking a brocade. "

HAHAHAHAAA! isn't that funny.... XD

well anyway the fabric really is that way, I'm not sure what I was thinking except "I want bluuuuue!!"
